o enhance the skills of construction workers, the Tamil Nadu Construction Academy (TAC) was established by the Government of Tamil Nadu. The Construction Industry Development Council (CIDC) is a member of the TAC governing committee.
As part of the seven-day skill development training program for registered construction workers, the 13th and 14th batches were conducted at the Tamil Nadu Construction Academy in Thayur, near Chennai:
- On June 30, 2025, 100 participants attended
- On July 26, 2025, 85 participants attended
Participants included bar benders and construction workers from various districts across Tamil Nadu.
