Mr.M.Somasundaram – Managing Director

Mr.M.Somasundaram is a passionate and visionary second-generation entrepreneur and the founder of the AMMAN-TRY Steel Brand. Since establishing the company in 1999 with First Rolling Mill in Trichy, he has implemented many ambitious plans, including three new ventures, and is now expanding the brand into neighbouring states. As a trendsetter in the industry, he has significantly contributed to raising public awareness about the importance of product quality and standards.

Notably, he introduced the Fe415 grade in 2002, prompting others in the market to follow suit despite showing reluctant to change. His commitment to stakeholder engagement is evident in his approach to professional business management. AMMAN-TRY Group has established South India’s largest integrated steel plant in Andhra Pradesh.

He has steered the Group to another milestone by launching AMMAN-TRY Steel PIPES and TUBES on our 25th anniversary. He has always kept wider horizons of expanding our product portfolio to cater to the evolving needs of the construction industry in South India. Under his dynamic leadership, the AMMAN-TRY group has grown many folds over the years and now employs about two thousand people. Further, he aspires to create an additional thousand job opportunities in the near future. He envisions AMMAN-TRY as one of the Top 10 Companies in India in the near future.

Balance the responsibilities of stewardship; – Act as the integrator and navigator for the group company base on my rich corporate company connections,& professional qualifications with legal exposure,; Be an effective leader of the finance and accounting/ corporate law function both company law & HR; and Bring professional qualities to the role and the organization.., in accounts and finance including HR.
